For all of you who are looking for an alternative to Paypal since you are tired of getting the paypal ban, there are a ton of alternatives out there that you can use!  For example, some marketers will use other alternatives such as Google Checkout, Plimus, Moneybookers, 2Checkout, and various other platforms.  You could also resort to the merchant accounts that process credit cards for you which are also another way of accepting payments on the internet.  What I would recommend since you are trying to find an alternative to paypal, is to use my favorite processor “Google Checkout”.

Paypal Alternative # 1 – Google Checkout is possibly the best processor out there in terms of actually getting paid on time all the time.  I personally use Google Checkout myself for my various sites to accept payments.  The beauty about Google Checkout, is that they filter out your fraudulent sellers prior to the actual sale.  This way you are going to be safe and protected in transacting with your customers.  Another reason why Google Checkout is a great alternative to Paypal, is because it’s a trusted source!  Who in the world is not going to trust Google?  … And when you’re talking about getting paid on time, Google Checkout is ALWAYS on time when it comes to payment.

Paypal Alternative #2 – Plimus is another payment processor which you could use as an alternative to paypal.  Plimus offers many different payment options which INCLUDES paypal!  What I like about Plimus is that you are able to use payment processors such as Paypal, 2checkout, moneybookers, etc. to process your payments.   The only downfall is that they will charge you $35 for every chargeback you get with them.  So make sure your customers are happy!

Paypal Alternative # 3 – 2Checkout is a great solution to accepting payments rather than paypal.  Although they do accept paypal, you don’t really have to have a paypal account as the same with Plimus!  With 2checkout, you are able to get your own debit card which you can use to buy items, and pay for things just like you would with your regular bank account!   You would have to pay $50 to get a 2Checkout account, but if you’re willing to take that investment then I would say go for it!

Paypal Alternative # 4 – Merchant accounts are a great way of getting what you need in terms of processing credit cards online.  If you have an ecommerce store and would like to use a merchant rather than paypal, google checkout, etc. and would like to use your own gateway, then I would recommend going the credit card merchants route.  You will find that this route may be best for others whileas the above 3 alternatives would work even better for your customers.  It’s all in a matter of trial and error to what your customers prefer more to process payments.

In essence, there are many payment processors out there that you can use to process your credit cards and payments.  I would highly recommend Google Checkout if you don’t want to go through the hassle of Paypal and their terms of limiting your account and never getting it back.  I would highly recommend that you also try out the other payment processors so that you can see for yourself what works better than others.  Hope you enjoyed this blog post, and of course we would highly recommend that you join the BlackhatGuide membership so that you can see how to make money with these payment processors!
