First off, what is a PVA account?  PVA is the craigslist acronym commonly known as Phone Verified Account.  Phone verified accounts (or PVAs) are accounts that have been phone verified for an extra added spam protection on Craigslist.  They make you phone verify your craigslist account because either your ip address has been softblocked on Craigslist as a spamming ip address, or you have been softblocked for various reasons which I’m not going to list right about now.  So the best way to go about this roadblock is to either purchase PVAs, or make your own PVA accounts.  They can cost roughly $2-$5 if you were to purchase them.

There are various methods and techniques in which one can use to create a PVA account on Craigslist.  The old technique that people used to use is the old public phone method.  They used to go war drive around town searching for public phones, and verifying them on Craigslist with a laptop and an air card.  Another method was an asshat method where you would go around bars and/or clubs asking to borrow people’s cell phones and receiving craigslist texts on them and verifying via the text code.  This is asshat, and will get you in trouble.  I wouldn’t recommend it.  Lastly another method that people used to use when verifying craigslist accounts were to actually get VOIP numbers and verifying accounts that way.
