Happy 1 year anniversary Blackhat Guide!

Hey everyone, it has been a whole year since the dawn of the BlackhatGuide membership community, and I would just like to thank everyone who helped make us to where we are today! It has been one heck of a year with all of the heart aches, trials, and fellowships that has been occuring within the BlackhatGuide community.

Some of the things that I have learned within a year of internet marketing is that you should never give up. There will be many things that you would quite frankly suck at, and there are also many things that you might be very good at. For example I was never good with adsense or blogging and that kind of thing, but I was always good with affiliate marketing, creating my own products, and selling my own memberships. I then taught this within the BlackhatGuide community in where people were able to learn of my mistakes, learn of the things that I did in which they corrected themselves for their benefits, etc…

It’s all about trial and error when it comes to internet marketing. Once you find something that you’re really good at, keep at it and upscale it. If it doesn’t make as much money as you think it could or should, then dump it and move on to another project. Success comes with great patience, trials and obstacles.

One of the many reasons why I created the BlackhatGuide membership forums was so that we can keep the division between serious internet marketers between the ones who will just waste our time. When people pay for something, they are serious about it and will force themselves to dedicate some time and effort into it. This is the same in every aspect of business. When you are serious about something, you are willing and able to invest in it in order to achieve excel in a specific niche, in this case the “make money at home” niche.

Now I’m not trying to hype the BlackhatGuide membership just because I own it, but honestly the BlackhatGuide membership is a great place in where you will be able to learn from others and ask questions about your own journeys through the internet marketing niche. I also created the BlackhatGuide membership so that we can connect with some of the best and the brightest within the internet marketing world.

Now I just wanted to end my rant by thanking all of those who have made BlackhatGuide the way we are today and would like to thank the Admins and VIPs for their contributions.

Google cookie monster – cookie stuffing cookie_monster-hp.gif

Google cookie stuffing

I just thought that this was funny when Google had this logo today of the Cookie monster. It reminded me of a method in which Blackhat internet marketers used to implement with Google logos. I’m not completely 100% sure how the method goes, but basically it’s getting traffic from Google’s logos.

When Google produces a new logo, people tend to search for them, and there is a high search on that day for that specific logo. You can find various Google logos within this link here : http://www.google.com/logos/ . It shows the various logos from the past that Google uses to spice things up.

What Blackhat internet marketers would do for a certain period of time, was try to rank for specific keywords from Google logos. For example, on November 2, Google promoted this logo “Day of the dead 09″. It would be fairly easy to promote such a keyword as this, since it’s probably not ranked at all. If you search on Google “”day of the dead 09″ you will see that there is little to no competition at all. Getting some ideas now?!? =]

As you can see, this method could be extremely lucrative if done right. You can rank easily for some of these logos that Google will put out there, and you will see a surge of traffic to your site for a short period of time.

Fake yet funny Blackhat Numbers

Hello fellow BlackhatGuide Blog readers! I am here yet again to show you an interesting yet very funny method of fake phone numbers. This can be used with anything, CPA companies, affiliate networks, craigslist postings, registration posts, and just anything that requires a phone number!

Go ahead and call it! It’s free (just as long as you have a free United States nationwide plan as most phones do)

This number will automatically play a message saying something about your bad breathe, lack of hygene, and something about your hair. It basically says you suck in life, and you need to leave me alone. Thanks to my friend (anonymous awesome girl), once again we have this wonderful fake blackhat phone number method.

Use this on anything you wish to either play a prank, or anything you like!

Blackhat Cookie Stuffing 101

What is Cookie Stuffing?

Cookie stuffing is a method in which the blackhat marketer will purposely ‘stuff’ a cookie onto the web visitor’s machine. The visitor is a targeted prospect for a specific affiliate program. For example, if you find a group of people interested in purchasing a certain clickbank product, then a certain blackhat marketer can cookie stuff those prospects in which he will get credited for the commission after the cookie stuffed visitor makes a purchase.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is an eatable delicacy in which can be taken in various shapes. An internet tracking cookie on the other hand is a method in which a vendor can track a web visitor’s information. Internet cookies are what affiliates use in order to track the sales coming from affiliates promoting their program. Almost all affiliate programs will use tracking cookies to check if the web visitor clicked on an affiliate link in order to make the purchase.

How can we make money as cookie stuffer?

Cookie stuffing is not recommended because it will get you banned from affiliate networks. The only way in which cookie stuffing is recommended, is if the vendor or affiliate program allows it. There are some affiliate programs that don’t care where or what you cookie stuff. One affiliate program is clickbank. Let’s say that you find a discussion board in which you find people talking about purchasing a certain clickbank product. When they are cookie stuffed, they possess your affiliate link in which you will get commission from the purchase that they made. Depending on how high you scale cookie stuffing, you can make a generous amount.

What is Blackhat Marketing?

Blackhat internet marketing is a style, or method of internet marketing that is classified as unethical to search engines, and/or affiliate networks. Blackhat internet marketing can be known as such ways of tricking the search engines to rank your website higher for certain keywords.

Blackhat internet marketing is not necessarily illegal, nor does BlackhatGuide condone any illegal activities. There is a difference between being a ‘blackhat internet marketer’ and an ‘asshat internet marketer’. Blackhat is shady internet marketing that will dominate our competition, and make more money on the internet.

One of the ways in which blackhat marketing can go wrong is when you get banned from a network, or get your website banned on the search engines. Blackhat marketers are familiar with getting banned on affiliate networks and search engines, but they are also familiar with making money before getting banned.

One way in which you can make money before getting banned, is through what’s called website cloaking. I will cover website cloaking on my next blog post.
